By joining the Atlantic City & County Board of REALTORS® (ACCBOR), you also become a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the New Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR) and the South Jersey Shore Regional MLS (SJSRMLS).  Giving you  access to a wide array of benefits, business tools, real estate market data, educational opportunities, and discount programs designed to help you succeed in today’s market

Requirements for Becoming A REALTOR®

Becoming a REALTOR® member is an easy and smooth process beginning with accessing the application and related forms from our website. Prior to completing these forms and submitting your dues, though, please keep in mind the following requirements:

1. You must have an active New Jersey Real Estate license.

2. The Designated REALTOR® of the office must belong to the Atlantic City & County Board of REALTORS®. If the Designated REALTOR® does not belong, you would either need for him/her to join the organization or you must consider joining the local organization to which he/she already belongs.

  • Application for Primary/Secondary REALTOR® membership

Establishing a REALTOR® Office with the Atlantic City & County Board of REALTORS®

In order for a REALTOR® application to be approved by the Atlantic City & County Board of REALTORS®, an office must have an established presence in the organization. The presence of the office is synonymous with the membership of a Designated REALTOR® for the respective office.

Whether the Designated REALTOR® is brand new to REALTOR® membership, joining as a Secondary member or joining the organization from another Association, a separate application for this individual is required before the organization can accept agents from that office for REALTOR® membership.

If you are a broker. an associate broker, proprietor or a principal of the company (with a salespersons license) you are eligible to be the Designated REALTOR® for your office and would become the primary contact for the office within the Association. You would need to complete a Designated REALTOR® application form and meet with the Membrship Committee.

Bylaws

The Atlantic City & County Board of REALTORS®  maintains Bylaws that serve as the rules that govern the operation and  management of your association. It covers the fundamental governance issues regarding the objectives of our association, qualifications for membership, election procedures for our Board of Directors, and other important topics. The Bylaws continue to be in accordance with the National Association of REALTORS®, to whom the organization is chartered under.

Become an Affiliate  Member

Today’s real estate industry is multi-faceted. More individuals than ever are involved in some aspect of a real estate transaction. If you are not a REALTOR® or licensed agent but are in a business related to the industry, you are encouraged to join the Association as an Affiliate Member.

Affiliate members represent businesses as diverse as staging professionals, mortgage companies ,home inspectors, title companies and pest control companies. Many of these individuals join so they can keep up-to-date with the latest real estate information and also to take advantage of unique networking opportunities with REALTOR® members.
